Send a Text to a GoPhone Over the InternetSponsored ADS | ||||
If you're in a situation where you can't call someone because the environment around you is too loud or the other person can't take a call, you might want to send a text message instead. A text message is just a short message containing text that you can send to most all cell phones, including GoPhones. A GoPhone is a prepaid cell phone from AT&T. If you don't have a cell phone of your own, you can still send a text message over the Internet. | ||||

Texting with TXT Drop1 Navigate to the TXT Drop website. 2 Enter your email address in the box under the words "Your Email Address." Type in the recipient's GoPhone number in the boxes next to the words "Recipient's Mobile Phone Number." 3 Type in the message you want to send to your friend in the box next to the words "Your Free Text Message." 4 Click on the "Send" button under the box that you typed your message in. The service will send your message to the recipient's GoPhone and responses will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. Texting with Text'Em1 Navigate to the Text'Em website. 2 Type in the recipient's GoPhone number in the "Recipient's Mobile Phone Number" field. You can also choose to enter your e-mail address. 3 Select "AT&T" as the mobile provider. Do this by clicking on the drop down menu next to the words "Mobile Provider." 4 Type in the message you want to send the GoPhone in the box next to the word "Message." 5 Type in the letters you see in the image above the words "Security Image." Place the security letters in the box under the words, "For security reasons, enter what you see in the image to the left." Place a check mark in the box next to the words, "I agree with the terms of use." Finally, click on the "Send Message" button. Texting with Text for Free1 Navigate to the Text for Free website. 2 Enter the GoPhone number you are sending the message to in the box under the words, "Please enter the receiver's cellular phone number." 3 Type in the subject of your text message in the box under the words, "Please enter the subject of the text message you'd like to send to the receiver." 4 Enter your message in the box under the words, "Please enter the text message you'd like to send to the receiver." 5 Select "AT&T PCS" as the cellular provider for your text message. Finally, click on the button labeled "Send Free Text Message." |
